Wheel-thrown stoneware mug

‘Blush Pink & Green Squiggle Transfer’ – This mug has a beautiful dusty speckled pink satin glaze & white gloss glaze inside. Decorated with a pressed-print style, green transfer which is applied by hand. The handle is designed for two or three fingers (medium sized hand) with a gorgeous little thumb stop which makes it really comfortable to hold.

Each piece is handmade in North Devon using a potters wheel, which makes them all truly unique. They are then decorated using a variety of techniques including, tissue paper transfers, coloured slips and underglazes. Finished with range of glazes and fired to stoneware temperatures – this make them super durable.

Each mug is handmade, so there will be slight variations in colour, size and shape which makes every piece unique. There are variations in the pink glaze depending on where it is placed in the kiln – the magic of the kiln gods! You will receive a mug careful chosen by me from a  selection of this design.
